A privately owned manufacturing company that services the electronics industry is currently in need of several full-time machine operators. The machine operators will be responsible for setting up and operating equipment using in manufacturing supplies for the electronics industry.
Based on the daily priority schedule, the machine operator will set-up the production equipment using the information provided in the work orders. The operator will load the machine and take a sample at the beginning of the run to ensure product is within specification.
Use rulers, measuring tape, calipers, gauges or micrometers to verify conformation to specifications. Communicate unsafe conditions, maintenance problems or any other issues that occurred on the shift to the supervisors.
These positions use a rotating schedule which changes every 3 months (quarterly):
1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
The starting pay rate for entry-level candidates is $10.50 per hour, though candidates who previously have experience working with cables will be at $13.00 hr.
Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must have knowledge of standard measuring equipment, ability to read work orders, understand quality basics & have some basic troubleshooting abilities.
The physical demands of the position require an individual comfortable with lifting up to 50 - 60 pounds regularly, and occasionally lifting more in tandem with another employee.
