A state-of-the-art plastics manufacturer in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is currently adding to their production staff. This injection mold facility is very well maintained, offers a great work environment with a focus on quality and employee satisfaction. The organization is well established, having been in operation for over 45 years, and experiencing significant growth.

 

The mixing associates will receive production orders for the shift, and prepare plastic resin materials for upcoming orders. Each order will require a different formula which may include fractions & decimals usage. The mixing positions will require the use of MS Excel & Outlook, calculator and scales to measure materials.

 

The lifting requirement for these positions is 50 lbs. Mixing personnel will spend a majority of their time standing while working. There is currently one position available on day shift:

 

1st shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. starting at $12.00 per hour.

The mixing positions require candidates with related experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates do not need to have plastics experience necessarily, but it is helpful. Candidates would be considered that have mixed food product, inks, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and other similar products.

 

Candidates must have excellent math skills and to be comfortable working with equations, decimals and fractions without additional training. Candidates should have strong communication skills and have the ability to train others. Candidates must be comfortable working with the computer.
