An industry leader in the manufacturer of cable products is looking to add a material handlers to their staff. This is a full time , permanent position with a privately owned company with 60 years on the market. This position is available due to strong growth , which has been consistent over the last several years.

These position consist of working in different areas of the production working with the raw materials to shipping products. Material Handler positions will consist of loading production equipment with the necessary raw materials, quality checking finish goods and removing product from the production area and cleaning the product from the machine. Packaging finish products and preparing products to be shipped. The lifting of raw materials, finish goods, and other supplies requires and individual that can comfortable handle heavy lifting between 50 lbs-75 lbs. Training will be provided to bring new employees up to speed on the equipment being used, and opportunities for advancement is available.

The schedule will run Monday- Thursday from 4:30 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. with a 10 hours per day . Overtime will be available on Fridays as needed. Benefits available include medical, retirement funds, holiday ,vacations, free uniforms and more once you are hired after 90 days.


  • Multi-task and prioritize task.
  • Minimum of 1 year of previous manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
  • Palletize and packaging
  • Loading material to the machines, remove the finish products, inspecting parts, other duties assigned
  • Available to work overtime on Fridays when needed

These positions require a drug test and criminal background check and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

These positions requires an individual that will show up every day, on time. Candidates should be ready to stay completely focused on the assigned tasks at all times. The individual that begins this assignment should have reliable transportation to get to work, as well as a back-up plan if that transportation is temporarily unavailable. It should be understood that the evaluation period of a temporary-to-hire position is extremely important, and that the company to which you are assigned expects your very best work for the first 90 days, with no exceptions. Absences, tardiness, inability to stay focused are all basic reasons for an assignment to be ended prematurely.
